About the Artist
I have been a glass artist for nearly forty years. After practicing the art of stained glass, I became fascinated with the ability of using heat to transform the properties of a solid piece of glass to a liquid form. The principles of manipulating glass to form a 3-D object led me on a journey of discovery into the world of glass fusing.
Exploring the integration of technical processes with artistic expression creates many unique opportunities. The inclusion of other media including metals, paints and a variety of other glass elements add dimensional quality and visual interest.
I have studied under many extremely talented artists known worldwide. Each year I attend glass art workshops and master classes allowing me to continue to learn new techniques, improve known techniques and to be in an exhilarating environment surround by incredible talent.
